“Behavior happens in moments, not appointments. The parents I work with don’t need another 40-page handout — they need the right move at 7:42 on a Tuesday, grounded in what their child’s clinicians and teachers already know works.”

Matt Edelstein, PsyD, BCBA-D · Kennedy Krieger / Johns Hopkins

NeuroPath Family
Hi there,
A general, best-practice support guide for home. Works alongside your child's clinicians and school team — never instead of them.
Quick start
What would you like to do?
Or — in the moment · Home Compass
Something happening right now?
If a meltdown or hard moment is unfolding, skip the plan and describe it here. 2–3 grounded moves you can try in the next 10 seconds.
Where are you?
Who else is there? Pick all that apply
General, best-practice support only — not therapy, medical care, or a diagnosis.
Skip the forms · just drop it
No time? Throw it in.
Paste an email, drop a PDF from the neuropsych, a doctor's summary, a Seesaw note, a screenshot of an IEP page. Our AI reads it and fills the right sections of your child's profile. You can keep going without explaining.

Before your next school meeting
Walk into the school meeting with receipts.
Whether it's a parent-teacher conference, a 504 review, or a formal IEP meeting, NeuroPath turns your child's diagnosis, medication timing, and the last 4 weeks of home-logged data into a one-page proposal your school team can read, copy, and sign. Every accommodation is tied to a specific evidence source.
No proposal generated yet. Generate one before your next meeting.

How's your child today?
What to try now
General, best-practice support. Home Compass offers frontline ideas — not therapy, medical care, or a diagnosis. For medical symptoms or injury, go to urgent care or the ER. For medication questions or new mental-health symptoms, reach out to your pediatrician. If your current plan at home isn't working, talk to your child's mental health professional or behavioral specialist.

🎤
Sing it in · ~3 minutes · in your language
Tell me about your child — out loud.
Read 5 short verses with your child's name, age, what sets them off, what calms them. AI fills the form in real time. Speak Spanish, Vietnamese, Mandarin, Haitian Creole — whatever you naturally speak at home.
Or print · talk it out · paste back
Get every intake question on one printable page. Write in pen and snap a photo back — or read it on your phone, voice-type your answers into Notes / Google Docs, paste them into Drop Anything. Hand it to grandma, your partner, the BCBA — anyone can fill it.
Or skip the form · just drop it
PDF of the neuropsych, a doctor’s summary, a page from your child’s school plan, a Seesaw note — drop or paste it and the AI fills the right sections of this profile. You can keep going without explaining.
The basics
Household (optional)
First name and role. Coaching reads more naturally when it knows who’s on the team.
Diagnoses & communication
Required for the Blueprint to generate. Diagnoses + communication mode shape every section of the doc — what helps, what sets them off, the school-advocacy draft, accommodations.

Optional. “None” is a real answer for both services and medications — we don’t assume every child needs either.

Anything not above — music therapy, equine, social skills group. Name + how often.
Name, dose, and how often. Skip any row if you’d rather not put it in the app.
What helps · what sets them off
Filling these powers Compass advice in real time and the function-of-behavior section of the Blueprint. Each field tightens both.
Things that help them regulate — fidgets, weighted blanket, headphones, pressure, swing. Captured separately from the “what they love” cards below.
What they love
Per the Edelstein Preference Questionnaire (2022) — these 7 domains feed every personalized recommendation NeuroPath generates (the printables your child will actually use, what to offer when they're stuck, what to build a "First-Then" around). Voice intake fills these as you talk; you can always edit.
📺 Media

🌟 Attention they crave
🎨 Creative
Daily schedule + activities
List the activities that shape your child’s day — especially the ones with friction. The transitions between activities are where most challenges happen, so the “transition note” is where to capture “always melts down at this handoff”. We use this to generate customized printables (First-Then boards, transition cards, sensory resets) for the activities you flag.
School & team
Filling these powers the school-meeting advocacy draft and the team-coordination section of the Blueprint. Don’t know everything? Use “Loop in the team” below to invite people who do.
How they think + sense the world
Sensory-processing fields below directly drive accommodation recommendations on the school-advocacy draft. Cognitive-strengths fields anchor the “Who they are” section of the Blueprint.
Why we ask: strengths anchor the “Who they are” section of the Blueprint and are what Compass leans on when offering alternatives in a hard moment.
Why we ask: drives the executive-function goals on the school-advocacy draft.
Why we ask: every sensory-related accommodation on the school-advocacy draft traces back to this field.
The behavior story
If there's a specific behavior worrying you, this is where it lives. Voice intake walks through it conversationally; you can also fill any of these manually.
Why we ask: one detailed concrete moment lets the AI build a function-of-behavior hypothesis. One vivid example beats five vague descriptions.
Why we ask: this + “what they escape” below are the strongest signals for the function-of-behavior hypothesis. Filling both moves the function-confidence rating from low to moderate.
Home rhythm
Sleep, eating, and the rhythm of your home day. Optional — but the more we know about home, the less the Blueprint over-indexes on school.
What's already in place
Routines & anything else
Loop in the team (optional)
Add anyone on your kid's team — teachers, aides, behavior analysts (BCBA), occupational or speech therapists (OT/SLP), school admin. They get an invite that lets them email things into this profile (school plans, daily-log notes, behavior reports). Teachers also get a magic link to the schools app so they can use Classroom Compass during incidents.
🔒 HIPAA-safe by design. The invite email contains no child name, no school name, no diagnoses. NeuroPath admin reviews every request before it goes out (usually within an hour during business hours). If the school isn't on NeuroPath yet, the system queues it as a pending district contact for our team to reach out — your school doesn't need to be a customer for the invite to work.
Common: classroom teacher · behavior analyst (BCBA) · 1:1 aide · therapist (OT/SLP)
You can edit or remove this profile any time from Settings. Nothing here is shared outside your account.
Build a home plan
A short, printable plan for a recurring hard moment
How this works. Tell us about one recurring hard moment. We’ll suggest three prevention moves, one replacement skill to teach, and what to do if it still happens. General best-practice support — not a clinical BIP.
